Stopped by for an impromptu lunch. Glad we shared a portion between 2! Excellent slaw and seasoned fries, and my partner said the fried shrimp is the best she's ever tasted. Great service, even better value. We'll definitely be back

They have the best crab cakes outside Baltimore Maryland. Everything tastes so good and the portions are a good size. My husband got the fried shrimp and they were perfect. You get enough food to feel full, but not so much food that you feel uncomfortably full. FYI: they serve beer and wine but you can bring your own liquor.

Delicious, perfectly fried shrimp at a reasonable cost in a restaurant with a real, old-school local seafood restaurant feel. Shark "nuggets" tasted fresh and were also tender and perfectly fried. Only critique I have is the red rice needs more bacon. (I'm very particular to my red rice recipes - and no adding it after the fact isn't the same thing - but I appreciate the offer! :) )

Food was awesome, fresh and tasty. Small place, Takes a awhile to get food but we'll worth the wait. Waitress from Illinois was awesome! Sorry I forget her name but she is worth asking for. Update 7/2/19 Mandy is the waitress to ask for. Owner always replies to comments which shows class. And cares about their business. You must try if in the area. Hopefully they get some draught beer and cocktails one day.

We had a table of 3 and we all ordered food. All meals came out separately 15 mins apart so essentially we all had to watch the others eat. Shrimp and grits were disgusting, flavorless and greasy. My fried shrimp were overcooked, red rice and green beans were lukewarm. Kids fish was decent, service was adequate is the only positives we have from this experience. When we addressed with the owner he attempted to explain that we must not be familiar with how shrimp and grits are served. Essentially telling us it was our fault. Terrible reaction to a customer complaint. We are born and raised in Charleston therefore we are extremely familiar with shrimp and grits. Bottom line skip this place.
